Global search configuration
The global search configuration is divided into three tabs.

This search configuration defines the search endpoints for the global search.
Attributes
You have the following options:
Visible | Visibility of the global search. |
Auto focus | Automatically get focus when the USU Portal loads |
Placeholder | Placeholder of the search bar.

Resources
Create new resource
You have the following options:
Language/Translation | Select the language and the corresponding translation of the category. Confirm your entry with the |
Target | Add the target URL/path of the resource and define the request method:

Enabled on the following devices | Defines on which device the resource will be displayed.

Allowed for the following roles | The roles entered define who can see the portal menu item. These two users are always available by default:

Click on Add to create the new resource.
Created resources
In the lower area you can see and edit existing resources.
You can delete an existing resources by clicking on the 
.
Drawer Mappings
Create new drawer mapping
You have the following options:
Type | Define the drawer type. |
Object ID | Add the Object ID |
Drawer width | Define the width of the drawer. |
Click on Add to create the new drawer mapping.
Created drawer mappings
In the lower area you can see and edit existing drawer mappings.
You can delete an existing drawer mapping by clicking on the .
Confirm your global configuration by clicking on the Save button in the lower right area.
To cancel editing and not save the changes, click on Discard changes.
