Basic concept

From a technical point of view, USU Software Compose is an umbrella Helm chart with dependencies to one or multiple Helm charts with USU applications and a single point of configuration for these applications.

Example:

USU Software Compose contains all 3rd party components such as relational database or object storage which are necessary to deploy USU applications. However, it is possible to change the configuration to use externally deployed and managed 3rd party components.
