Seeing the result of your customization
During your administration work on the shop, you can use quick access links to directly open the currently edited category or offer in the shop and see the result of your customization/data preparation from the end user perspective.
Similarly, if you are logged in to the shop for end users with administrator permissions, you can browse through the shop as an end user and use quick access links to directly open the currently viewed category or offer in the shop for administrators. This makes it possible to directly make changes without having to re-locate the object recently viewed as a user.
In both cases, the counterpart shop version (admin, user) opens in a new browser tab.
Shop for the administrator: Open a category as a user
In the read mode of category detail, click the ... symbol at the right top of the detail tab and select the Open category in shop item. A new browser tab with the current category displayed in the shop for end users opens.
Note that if the category is deactivated, a No category found page gets opened for the end user perspective.
Shop for the user: Open a category for administration
With a category opened for viewing, click the Open category in Admin button at the right top of the window. A new browser tab with the current category displayed in the shop for administrator opens.
Shop for the administrator: Open an offer as a user
In the read mode of offer detail, click the ... symbol at the right top of the detail tab and select the Open offer in shop item. A new browser tab with the current offer displayed in the shop for end users opens.
If the offer (or some of its parent categories) is deactivated, it opens in a limited view with an Offer is no longer available message at the top.
Shop for the user: Open an offer for administration
With an offer opened for viewing, click the Open offer in Admin button at the right top of the window. A new browser tab with the current offer displayed in the shop for administrators opens.
