Homepage

Homepage is a starting point for using the Shop. Depending on customization, your Shop homepage may contain up to four main elements: Welcome section, My requests widget, Recommended offers widget and Recommended categories section.

Welcome section at the top of the page may greet you and display some introductory information. It can also contain a search field providing fast access to the shop search functionality.

Note that the Welcome section may not be present in the homepage if it has not been enabled by the administrator.

The My requests widget displays the most current requests you have submitted. It also provides access to your requests in general:

  • Click the more requests link at the bottom of the widget to open the My requestsMy requests page page with full overview of all your requests.

  • Click any request in the widget to open the My requests page with the clicked request selected and its summary displayed on the right-hand side of the page.

The widget will be displayed even if you have not submitted any requests yet.

The Recommended offers widget displays offers marked by your shop administrator as recommended.

  • Rotate the carousel using the left and right arrows to browse through all recommended offers.

  • Click any request in the widget to open its Offer detail page.

Note that the widget will not be displayed if your shop administrator has not marked any offers as recommended.

The Recommended categories section at the bottom of the page provides fast access to important categories. Individual tiles in the section represent categories specified as recommended by the shop administrator.

Use the See category link or click anywhere inside the tile to go to the related category.

Tip

You can always return to the homepage by clicking the USU logo in the toolbar.
