USU toolbar

USU toolbar is always visible at the top of the shop window.

Click the USU logo to return to the homepage.

Click the User profile element to open the user profile menu containing the following items: Profile, Data privacy, Legal notice, About, Logout.

Use the Profile item to open user settings.

Click the ShUsr_ICN_Help.pngicon to open application online help.

Clicking Profile in the user profile menu opens a new browser tab with a page of the USU User Management application. Here you can change some of your user account attributes and user interface preferences applied across all USU application for this account.

The following two User Management tabs are relevant for you:

Account

  • Profile picture - Set a profile picture which will be used for your account across all USU applications. Optional.

  • Job title - Enter your current job description. The description will be publicly visible. Optional.

  • Password - Update your password for all USU applications.

Preferences

  • Global language - Select the language to be used in all USU applications as your default language.

  • Timezone - Select the timezone you are located in. It will be used in all USU applications as your timezone.

  • Currency - Select the currency to be used in all USU applications as your default currency.

    Please note that switching currencies may have offer availability consequences. See the Work with multiple currencies topic for more information.

To change and apply the settings:

  1. Expand the User profile menu in the Toolbar and select Profile.

    The USU User Management application opens in a new browser tab, and you are redirected to this tab.

  2. Change your settings (see above) in the USU User Management application.

  3. Switch back to the Shop browser tab and reload the page. (E.g. using the F5 key standard for most browsers)

  4. After reloading the page, the changed setting will apply. You can close the USU User Management browser tab.

Example: Changing the Shop user interface language

To change the language of your Shop user interface, use the above described procedure for setting Preferences / Global language.
